Trampoline Hall
Call for Set Designers
Here is how you can apply to Design the Set for Trampoline Hall
~~~
HOW TO APPLY
We have a form you can fill out linked at the bottom of this page. The application form is always open and we select from the form on a rolling basis. You are welcome to submit more than one idea if you like.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD SET
Historically, each Trampoline Hall show has featured a different set and artist. People have done a really broad range of things with the set - some have been sculptural, some are flat images, some involve audience participation or performance elements.
The set shouldn't distract too much from the show. Having moving images behind the lecturer, for instance, can be a problem, since the audience's attention is drawn to those images (and, worse, the lecturer doesn't know what's going on). If your set might present these sorts of challenges, consult with your curator.
BUDGET
Trampoline Hall is pretty much an all-volunteer thing that breaks even after ticket sales. Lecturers and Set Designers aren't paid. We do provide a small budget for supplies.
