Trampoline Hall
Call for lecturers

Here is how you can apply
to lecture at Trampoline Hall

~~~
HOW TO APPLY
We have a form you can fill out linked at the bottom of this page. The application form is always open and we select from the form on a rolling basis. Due to the high volume of responses, we may be unable to get back to you. We will keep your lecture topic on record in the event of any future opportunities.
You are welcome to submit more than one idea if you like.
Trampoline Hall is pretty much an all-volunteer thing that breaks even after ticket sales. No one makes money off it (except one paid person who does the thankless admin work), and lecturers aren't paid.
WHAT MAKES FOR A GOOD LECTURE
The number one rule is that you cannot lecture on a subject on which you are professionally expert. It cannot be your job to know the thing you are talking about.
Apart from that: Lectures can be very serious, or funny, or anywhere in between. It's great if they have a way to engage their audience. It's great if there's some *reason* you want to talk about this topic- think about why it matters to you, and why it might matter to your audience.
Also: If this whole idea makes you a little uncomfortable: That is probably okay!! Lots of our speakers are nervous or new at this. Our curatorial team will help you along
